Dr. Douglas R. Prince has provided orthodontic
care to area residents in:
Orland Park & Tinley Park since 1996,
Glen Ellyn since 1996;
New Lenox since April of 2005.
Dr. Prince graduated from the University of
Tennessee with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and received his specialty
training in Orthodontics from Loyola
University, Chicago and graduated with a Specialty Degree in Orthodontics.
After graduating, Dr. Prince became a Professor of Clinical Orthodontics
at Loyola, teaching
dentists studying to become orthodontists. He also taught growth and development
and adult orthodontics.
Dr. Prince is currently an active member in
the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental
Association.
Annually attending continuing
education
courses with an emphasis on all aspects of Orthodontics and General Dentistry
enables Dr. Prince to remain at the fore front of his specialty allowing
him to provide optimal care to his patients, as well as to offer his patients
the
finest Orthodontic treatment and care. Attending courses and seminars with
the newest information in the area of computers has allowed Dr. Prince to
keep abreast of the new advancements of computer technology, digital imaging
and
digital x-rays. This gives him the best information for diagnosis and treatment
planning.
Dr. Prince is also a member of the Mid-West Society
of Orthodontics and the Illinois Society of Orthodontics. Due to
Dr. Prince’s
passion for teaching, he has provided lectures in Germany for the
German Orthodontic Society and
for the European Orthodontic Society.
In 2000, Dr. Prince was awarded a position
into the Century Club for Invisalign as one of the top Invisalign
providers in the nation. He has continued to
maintain this high level of recognition for the past 5 years and currently
holds this
position.
In 2004, Dr. Prince received a certificate marking
250 cases with Invisalign; he currently has treated over 400 cases
with Invisalign.
In 2005, Dr. Prince was awarded the Invisalign
Premier Provider Award, once again moving him to a top position
in the U.S.

Dr. Prince’s best support comes from his
wife, Jane, and their four children: Jimmy, Barbara, Douglas, and Andrew.
They reside in
Naperville with one of their
four children.

orthodontics, Dr. Prince said “Changing
patients’ self-image and self-perception by creating beautiful faces
and smiles; to see patients blossom into smiles and happiness as they become
